Kathryn Backholer
Kathryn is a National Heart Foundation Senior Research Fellow at Deakin University. Her research is focused on building the evidence to support policy responses to equitably improve population diets and diet-related ill-health, across the socioeconomic gradient. She has a particular interest in the role of fiscal policies to promote healthier diets and leads a program of work that combines both real-world and controlled experiments to better understand the role of food and beverage price policies across a diverse range of contexts and settings.
