Anthony Clough
Mr Clough is a bariatric surgeon working at Box Hill and the Epworth Hospitals in Melbourne. His surgical practice includes a broad range of procedures for both public and private patients including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, gastric banding, duodenal switch and Orbera balloon implantation. Anthony has been involved from the early stages of robotic assisted bariatric surgery in Australia and has served as a proctor for many surgeons commencing robotic programmes. Prior to this he assisted with implementing the first Endobarrier implantation programme in Australia. He has recently published data reporting on the efficacy of the key bariatric procedures performed in a public hospital setting and serves on the Editorial board for Obesity Surgery journal. His current research interest is in comparing outcomes and gastrointestinal quality of life between loop duodenal switch, sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass patients.
